Explore the usefulness of adjustment layers such as the Black & White Adjustment Layer.
William will demonstrate using the B&W Adjustment Layer for the colour correction techniques like Cross Processing, Polarize effect, etc.

Lynus will demonstrate how to combine multiple exposures to create stunning imageries. He will explore the possiblilities of high dynamic range images and image blending and offer some simple solutions to common exposure problems.

Synopsis: There are many colors that you can use while creating a website. But
how many people do actually know if the color would show up on the browser?
Carlsson will take you to explore web colors with applications like Adobe Kuler
and how you could make use of different color combinations.

Synopsis: Shooting multiple exposures with Auto Exposure Bracketing using a DSLR
and processing with creative camera raw techniques using Bridge and
Photoshop's History brush tool.

Synopsis: It is said that the best camera is the one that you have with you. i.e. your phone camera. Let's look at some ways in which we can improve our phone camera pictures. Synopsis: Have you always thought that creating and editing vectors in
Illustrator was a difficult task. Now, do not worry as Mark will be
demostrating and you will be witnessing how easy it is to create
vectors with "Live Trace" in Illustrator while still editing "Live"
with Photoshop simultaneously.

Synopsis: Building a website is no straightforward task. Before any
kind of aesthetic designing or coding, you need to plan how your site
is going to be laid out, where the elements are going to be and how
the user is being directed from one page to another. Traditionally,
these are done by scribbling on scraps of paper, and as we all know,
doodling abilities can vary.

Synopsis : We know that there are channels in photoshop. So
what is it and how can we use it in a creative process ? I will show
how we can use channels to create a selection to bring elements from

Speaker Stefano Virgilli (Director of Vox Labs)
Synopsis: Many may have felt lost when in PhotoshopCS4 were looking for
the Filter>Extract. In fact, from version CS4, it does not appears
anymore by default. It has to be downloaded from Adobe website.
To simplify this, Adobe created a useful resource platform called
Extension exchange. So anybody can download directly from the website,
or alternatively use the new application Extension Manager to get
extensions for any Adobe software.Stefano Virgilli, Adobe Certified Instructor, will brief
about the new extension management system in version CS4, and give a
demo on how to outline a person with the Extrac filter and change the
background.

Code and Video in After Effects, by Stefano Virgilli (20 minutes)
Animating without keyframes? Yes we can! It is the power of expressions in After Effects.
Some simple interpolation, if/then condition and a bit of math can create extremely controllable movements.
Stefano Virgilli defines himself as a designer who loves to code. He will demo how quick and affective is to do some code in video animation.
Bio > Stefano Virgilli has 30 Adobe Certifications as Expert and Instructor. He is the owner of an Adobe Authorized Training Centre, and User Group Manager of Creative Crew.
Prototyping in Adobe FireWorks, by Linus Lim (20 minutes)
Adobe Fireworks is all about rapid prototyping. As the complexity and scope of web sites and applications grew, there became a clear need to prototype and share designs and interaction concepts with clients or developers. Linus will talk about some of these tools and also do a short demo on how to skin your interface design from Adobe Fireworks over to Adobe Flex for coding.
Bio > Linus is a web designer for many years specialise in user interface and usability. He is also an experienced trainer, Fireworks evangelist and the Vice President of Creative Crew.
Thinking in Flex for Designers, by Arul Kumaran (20 minutes)
Clearly communicating design goals and purpose to the developers is always a challenge for designers. In this session Arul Kumaran will be introducing flex to designers and how they can take advantage of CS4 tools like fireworks to prototype, design, and skin flex applications
Bio > Arul Kumaran is a freelance Flash Platform consultant who is passionate about rich Internet application development. As an Adobe Community Expert for Flash and Flex he speaks in various community events and tweets the flash platform happenings using his twitter id "ArulKumaran"
"The future of Designer-Developer workflow - an introduction", by Arul Prasad (20 mins)
This talk would introduce designers to the upcoming designer-developer workflow improvements, thanks to the introduction of Adobe 'Flash Catalyst'. The current work flow puzzle has a missing block, which FC is trying to solve. Arul Prasad will demo the Flash Catalyst tool and will discuss the improved workflow, and help set expectations from a developer's perspective.
Bio > Arul Prasad is a software developer, specializing on the Flash Platform. He's been developing applications for the Flash platform using Adobe Flex, Flash and other open source tools.
